GETTING THERE

From Pisa airport (1hr 30) Exiting the airport, follow signs for Livorno: this will take you on to the A12/E80 motorway (toll), heading south. Exit at Cecina Nord, then turn right immediately for "Volterra, Larderello, Riparbella" (SS68). Continue following signs to Larderello, then Lustignano, along minor roads.
From Rome-Fiumicino airport (3hr 20) Exiting the airport, follow signs for Roma. After about 3km turn on to the A12 motorway (toll), towards Civitavecchia. After Civitavecchia, the motorway ends; continue north on the SS1 Aurelia trunk-road. Exit at Follonica Est, then follow signs along minor roads to Larderello, then Lustignano.
From Rome-Ciampino airport (3hr 40) Exiting the airport, follow signs for Roma (SS7). After about 3km take the Grand Raccordo Anulare (GRA) towards Fiumicino and Civitavecchia. After about 12km, exit on to the A91 motorway, following signs to Fiumicino airport. After about 6km, take the exit for the A12 motorway, towards Civitavecchia, and continue as above (from Rome-Fiumicino)
